NEARBY TO W9…

One of my favourite walks is down by the canal and if you keep going towards Paddington, you wind up near the wonderful restaurants of Sheldon Square and then on to West End Quay. I haven’t had a chance to try them all yet, but I quite often find myself at the Union Bar and Grill and Core – both of which are extremely child friendly, in fact I’ve been going to Core since the little one was an infant for meetups with my antenatal group.

Others in this area include Massis Lebanese Grill & Bar, Zizzi, Smith’s Bar and Grill, Pearl Liang, and Grand Union,

and…

Carluccio’s St John’s Wood
60 St John’s Wood High Street, NW8 7SH – 020 7449 0418
Definitely worth a mention because it is just so child friendly.

or if in Kensal Rise or Queens Park, we’ve found the following very child friendly…

The Alice House
Has classes during the mornings through West London Tots. There are a few steps but plenty of room for buggies.
53-55 Salusbury Road, NW6 6NJ – 020 7624 0008

The Diner
64-66 Chamberlayne Road, NW10 3JJ – 020 8969 9033
The last time I was in here, they had a deal that kids eat free if you get a meal during the week and they even have a playroom!

2 Thoughts on “Restaurants & Pubs

  1. Mosob is an amazing Eritrean (similar to Ethiopian) restaurant that is a great local! It’s on Harrow Road near Elgin Avenue. They even have a high chair for the little one.

I second Eileen’s suggestion re Mosob – it’s one of our favourites, family run and the kids love it.

Amoul’s on Formosa Street is a good Lebanese cafe. Everything is home made and ingredients are sourced locally. They have baby food as well.
